The planned AI features are designed for on-device processing, rather than sending mail content to a remote AI service.

Your email provider stays part of the picture

Susa is an email client, not a new mail service. Future account connections will need to communicate with the email provider you choose.

Decisions stay with you

AI is intended to suggest and explain. You will review drafts and decide what gets sent.

Clear about where we are

Susa is in development. The current local preview uses fictional sample mail; it does not connect accounts or send email. Provider connections, on-device AI, and production security protections are still being developed. It is not ready for real mail.
